It’s all in the wash

I have this favorite skirt from the Gap that I love. I love my husband, too. But last week, I found my favorite skirt in the wash with the bathroom mat.
Why? Why?
Why would anyone wash a favored treasure with a bathroom mat? Something that soaks up old bath water?!?!

So I go into this one Michael’s more than I should, and I have started to recognize some of the staff. One fellow stands out to me, partly because he’s a dude, partly because he’s young (I’m thinking 23?), and partly because he is both knowledgable and helpful. He must’ve started recognizing me too, because lately he has said hello with more than the cursory customer small-talk.
I wonder if he and I ever went out, would our relationship ever progress to the point where he would use his employee discount to buy stuff on MY list?
Very intriguing.
